The LRSF AI Mission

RECOVERING THE TRUE HISTORY OF BHARAT — AND BUILDING AN AI WORTHY OF IT

A Civilisation’s Memory, Reawakened

For too long, the deep history of Bharat has been treated as myth — its itihasa dismissed as legend, its sciences forgotten, its scriptures left unread. The Foundation holds that what has been called “mythology” is, in truth, a vast and precise record of history, cosmology and science — and is committed to studying it, documenting it, and demonstrating it through rigorous research and the most advanced technology of our age. This is not nostalgia. It is recovery.

THE FIVE PILLARS OF THE MISSION

Five Threads of a Single Recovery

PILLAR I

The Cosmological Framework — The Science of Cycles

At the heart of Indian thought lies a profound vision of time — not a line, but a great wheel. The yugas, the days of Brahma, and the endless rhythm of srishti (creation) and pralaya (dissolution) describe a universe continuously destroyed and recreated. The Foundation’s research treats this as an ancient cosmological science — a model of cyclical reality whose echoes appear in modern cosmology.

PILLAR II

Pre-Historic & Vedic Bharat

Long before the dates of conventional textbooks, Bharat was home to advanced civilisation — from submerged coastlines to the banks of lost rivers, from the Vedic seers to great urban cultures. The Foundation funds and champions the archaeological, textual and astronomical research that can reveal this true antiquity, dating events through the sky-records preserved in our texts.

PILLAR III

The Itihasas — History, Not Fable

The word itihasa means “thus it indeed happened.” The Ramayana and Mahabharata are remembered not as invented stories but as accounts of real people, places and events. Using astronomical dating, geographical correlation and the evidence within the texts themselves, the Foundation supports work to establish the historical reality behind these great epics — the cities, the dynasties, the wars, and the sciences they describe.

PILLAR IV

The Scriptures & the Sciences

Within the Vedas, Upanishads, Vedangas and the vast body of Sanskrit literature lies an ocean of knowledge: jyotisha (astronomy and mathematics), ayurveda (medicine), shilpa and vastu (architecture and engineering), metallurgy, linguistics, logic, and the deep science of consciousness. The Foundation works to digitise, translate, preserve and study these texts — ensuring this knowledge is never again lost.

PILLAR V

The Dynasties & Kingdoms

From the earliest kings to the great empires, the unbroken thread of Bharat’s governance, culture and achievement deserves to be told in full. The Foundation supports the documentation of India’s dynastic history — the rulers, the institutions, the trade, the art and the spiritual life that made this land a beacon of civilisation for millennia.

“To recover a civilisation’s memory is to give its future a foundation. We study the past not to live in it — but to build wisely beyond it.”

TECHNOLOGY IN SERVICE OF TRUTH

The Role of Chandrahas Technologies

To study a civilisation’s entire memory — millions of verses, thousands of texts, centuries of evidence — is a task beyond any single scholar. This is where artificial intelligence becomes a sacred instrument.

The LRSF AI Mission is powered in collaboration with Chandrahas Technologies Pvt. Ltd., which stewards the innovations and technology of the Foundation and leads the development of its AI Mission. For over nine years, Chandrahas has worked at the frontier of AI and machine learning — and now turns that expertise toward AI rooted not in profit, but in humanity, consciousness and truth.

At the heart of this collaboration is Shivam Goswami, Co-Founder, CEO and Managing Director of Chandrahas Technologies. He brings a rare union of heritage and science to this work. Rooted in the Goswami tradition connected to the lineage of Adi Shankaracharya, his family carries longstanding bonds with revered Acharyas, Shankaracharyas, Ramanandacharyas, Jain Munis, and Buddhist monks and Lamas. A mechanical engineer fostering innovation since 2016, and a public speaker versed in Indian, Greek, Roman, Aztec and world philosophy, he has devoted himself to a disciplined, scientific approach to the wisdom held within India’s ancient scriptures.

The Foundation was founded by Mahesh Patil, whose long-held dream was to revive India’s true ancient wisdom and science and bring it into reality. When he first heard of Shivam through the Foundation’s volunteers, and later met him, he found a vision that aligned completely with that dream. From that meeting grew a shared purpose — and today the two collaborate to bring the Foundation’s AI Mission, and its wider goals, to life.

In this spirit, the Foundation seeks the guidance of India’s living spiritual and scholarly traditions — engaging with custodians of dharma alongside archaeologists, historians, Sanskritists, astronomers and modern scientists. Ancient wisdom and modern science, working as one.
