The AI Mission
We contend that the next great advance in artificial intelligence should be rooted in humanity, consciousness, ethics, and the wisdom of Indian civilisation.
The technology partner. Chandrahas Technologies Pvt. Ltd. — nine years of applied work in artificial intelligence and machine learning, led by Shivam Goswami, also the Foundation’s Chief Technology Officer.
Two goals. To recover India’s scientific and scriptural heritage through rigorous archaeology, astronomical dating and digitisation; and to support the development of AI models that are ethically and philosophically conscious.
Five research directions. The cosmological framework of cyclical time; the antiquity of Vedic-era India; the historical grounding of the great epics; the sciences preserved in classical Sanskrit literature; and the continuous thread of India’s dynasties.
An independent effort. The AI Mission is a wholly independent initiative of the Foundation. It is not affiliated with any government programme.

Common questions.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes, subject to the Foundation’s certifications under the Income Tax Act. Donor receipts include the applicable reference. Please write to info@lrsf.ngo for current documentation.
Where does the money go?
Every rupee is receipted, allocated to a specific programme, and reported in the annual accounts. Accounts are independently audited. Donors receive an allocation note explaining how their contribution was used.
Can I volunteer if I only have an hour a week?
Yes. Remote roles — research, writing, translation, digital outreach, mentorship — can be done from anywhere in India. Field roles require local presence.
Is the Foundation affiliated with any political party?
No. The Foundation is deliberately non-partisan and holds no allegiance to any political party. Members serve as citizens.
Can foreign donors contribute?
Foreign contribution intake is handled separately from domestic donations, under applicable Indian regulations. Please write to info@lrsf.ngo for the current process.
How does the AI Mission fit with the community work?
Both flow from the same principle: that Indian civilisational heritage has practical value today. Community work applies that principle in service; the AI Mission applies it in technology.
