How to Contribute
Choose the method that works for you.
Online
Donations are processed through a secure payment gateway. UPI, credit and debit cards, and net banking are supported. Contributions are receipted electronically within 24 hours.
Bank Transfer
For contributions by direct bank transfer via RTGS, NEFT, or IMPS, please write to donations@lrsf.ngo to receive the Foundation’s official bank account details. We will provide these securely by return email, along with a reference format that will help us match your transfer to your receipt promptly.
Cheque or Demand Draft
Cheques may be drawn in favour of “Lok Rakshak Sena Foundation” and sent to the registered office in Surat, Gujarat. Please include a covering note with your name, address, PAN (for tax receipt), and preferred allocation.
For Foreign Donors
Foreign contributions to Indian non-profit organisations are governed by the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010 (FCRA). The Foundation will accept foreign contributions only after the requisite registration is in place, and only through the designated FCRA account required under the Act.
If you are an international donor interested in supporting the Foundation, please write to international@lrsf.ngo. We will confirm the current status of the registration and, if it is in place, share the applicable FCRA account details and receipting process.
For Companies Making CSR Contributions
Companies with Corporate Social Responsibility obligations under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 may contribute to the Foundation subject to the Foundation holding valid CSR registration (CSR-1 with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs).
We are happy to share the Foundation’s CSR-1 status, sample programme proposals, and reference contacts on request. Please write to csr@lrsf.ngo.
Tax Deduction
Where the Foundation holds valid certification under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, contributions from Indian donors may be eligible for the applicable deduction. The specific benefit available to you depends on your individual tax circumstances and on the currency of the Foundation’s certification at the time of your contribution.
Your donation receipt will reference the applicable certification. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance on how to claim the deduction in your return.
Donor Rights
Five commitments the Foundation makes to every donor.
- Receipt. You will receive an electronic receipt within 24 hours of your contribution being confirmed.
- Allocation note. You will receive a note explaining how your contribution has been allocated — to which programme, in which region, and for what purpose.
- Reporting. Programme progress is reported in the Foundation’s annual report, which is published each year and available to all donors.
- Privacy. Your personal information is confidential and is never shared, sold or transferred to any third party without your consent.
- The right to a refund. In specific circumstances, contributions can be refunded. See our Refund Policy for detail.
Anti-Fraud Notice
The Foundation raises funds only through this website, our official communication channels, and in person by authorised office-bearers carrying a Foundation identity card.
If you receive a request for donation that appears to be from the Foundation and you are unsure of its authenticity — including requests through social media, phone calls from unknown numbers, or emails from addresses that are not @lrsf.ngo — please verify by writing to info@lrsf.ngo before contributing.
The Foundation does not, under any circumstance, ask donors to make payments to personal accounts, to accounts in the name of any office-bearer, or to any account other than those officially listed on this website or communicated in our formal receipts.
